Kaushalya - Scholarship

KAUSHALYA – SCHOLARSHIP Kaushalya, a mother with her four children along with her Ram, migrated from Pakistan to India, as a refugee leaving behind all the wealth the family owned the unfortunate 1947 partition; As a strong willed woman and she; taught music, stitched garments, showed self reliant path to life, set up schools, training centers, ashram, worked for Arya Samaj, a reformist movement. As a tribute to her selfless service to women with her untiring spirit, Kaushalya Scholarship is awarded to five girl student admitted to the college and their entire tuition fee is fully exempted. The scholarship is awarded to girl students showing merit and grade are selected by a committee of teachers.
