Chanakya Academy has completed glorious journey of more than 25 years of transforming, connecting and empowering the young creative minds into successful professional.Since its inception in 1993 with a humble 2000 sft facility , the academy has evolved into a 5 acre prominent institution of higher understanding with a focus on skill development, entrepreneurship and employability; serving the needs of the design, fashion and fine arts industry under the able guidance of Wgcdr Subhash Sindhwani.In this global and competitive industry, Chanakya Academy have achieved competence and develop the industry ready courses and groom the students in accordance with the industry needs. The courses are structured such that they blend academic knowledge with the necessary tools designed with not only creativity in mind but also the business objectives at hand by adoption of superior technology, business organizational skills and practical knowledge.

Community College, still a new concept in India, is a major educational reform; hopefully community college, based on NSQF based vocational education, will be able to address the present malaise of poor employability amongst the graduates. Chanakya Community College, the first one in state of Chhattisgarh, is working towards imparting job and skill based programs in the state. Chanakya Community College started under IGNOU community college scheme in 2010 with 12 approved vocational programs; however due to closing down of IGNOU scheme in 2012, Chanakya got approved by AICTE under NTI – Non Technical Institute scheme of AICTE - for three vocational programs but could not get affiliated to CSVTU, the state technical university due to CSVTU not having the provision for affiliation of community colleges.

CSVTU took measures to bring in the necessary ordinance for the affiliation of community college programs but in 2014 AICTE had to close it’s NTI scheme as only technical colleges came under it’s domain. Meanwhile UGC issued guidelines for formation of community colleges by colleges under Sec 12 f affiliated by state universities. Community Colleges are to offer skill based vocational rone yea diploma and two years advanced diploma (Associate Degree) programs after class 12 and award certificate on it’s own under the blanket approval from the affiliating university. There are still policy confusions about this.

Center for Brain Health Training is an initiative by the founder society along with Stepsure LLC, a USA based company, to set up an institute to create awareness about the brain health based on research in developing countries and India.

CBHT will offer training programs and other interventions to help citizens take care of their brain health. CBHT will create awareness about various brain diseases and ways to prevent /delay them by training and diet.
