Interior Design
The Construction Industry being the second largest after agriculture has plenty of opportunities for our INTERIOR DESIGN students.This sector is also responsible for employment to large number of people. With the Infrastructure development in Raipur and the expanding population of the city, there is an inadequacy to meet the demand of the existing urban population. Therefore a re-generation of urban areas in existing cities and the creation of new, inclusive smart cities are needed due to an increasing population and migration from rural to urban areas. Those future cities require smart real estate and urban infrastructure which can be structured by INTERIOR DESIGN student.
Apparel Sector (Garment Construction)
Our students are trained for apparel designing, conceptualizing and creating items of clothing. They often specialize in one type of design, such as casual, evening or active wear. They are taught to track current fashion trends and predicting future ones, sketching new designs, selecting patterns and fabrics to use in garments and overseeing production. They then perform a presentation of the items to creative directors, clients or retailers, depending on if the garments are to be custom designed through seminars workshops and exhibitions.
Fashion Designing (Merchandising)
Students of Fashion Design discipline are are mostly employed by wholesale or manufacturing outlets, where garments are typically created for mass production; designers can also work for apparel companies, retailers, design firms and theater companies. In these settings, they tend to work as full- or part-time members within a team. Some students working as professional apparel designers are self- employed; they often create custom clothing working to meet clients' customised needs. Students frequently travel to visit manufacturers, attend trade or fashion shows and gain artistic inspiration.
Fine Art
Design students acquire multiple skills – logical thinking, a sharp eye for detail and project management – and these carry huge appeal in the eyes of potential employers. The programs fine Arts have been framed to produce professional designers, artists and design entrepreneurs who are capable of setting new trends, starting new businesses and are dedicated to raising people’s standards of living and wish to make the world a more sustainable place to be.
